An absolute stunner of a watch. It’s just as gorgeous as you think it is. I fell in love with the DRZ03 after seeing Jody review it before it was released and knew I had to have it. The dial is extremely well thought out and is a complete joy to look at. You can tell Sergio has a strong passion and talent for design and it’s achingly beautiful in person. It has strong Direnzo DNA in it especially now that the 04 has been teased, I’m delighted to own my Eclipse.
I bought my Eclipse second hand and had to have it serviced after the postal service punted it. Sergio was extremely communicative and helpful during the whole process. Seeing as Direnzo is a microbrand you’ll likely speak directly to Sergio if you ever have any issues and I can confidently say you’re in good hands. Extremely low hassle, clear communication, and excellent service. I was treated like you’d want to be treated and then some. I cannot commend Sergio enough.
As for what the pictures can’t tell you: the watch is extremely well made. The crown screws down with almost zero resistance from the threading – something that even more expensive watches fail to achieve. The bracelet is well manufactured and feels very soft and supple on my wrists, conforming instantly because of the female end link. The foldover on the clasp is reassuring and quite tactile that makes it fun to put on and take off the watch when you’re bored. The bezel is well machined and delightfully clicky, aligning perfectly with the indices all the way around the watch.
If you put a big name brand on the dial, I’d believe it. If you can manage to find an Eclipse in the spec you want on the second-hand market, you’d be a fool to pass it up. They truly are unique and exquisite watches backed by a fantastic brand owner and support network. Direnzo is here to stay.

Beautiful watch! Runs great, consistently keeps time within 6 seconds per day. Only issue I have is the bezel pip/ triangle is slightly misaligned ( barely noticeable), and the lume on the indices and hands could be stronger, last longer. Otherwise it’s an excellent but for the money.

Some additional thoughts: I agree that the lume is lean, but it doesn’t bother me. 1 I live in the mountains and 2) I don’t think this is this watch’s true strength. This watch comes as close to the ideal of a one watch collection watch as I’ve ever seen. It’s a casual sports/dress watch with dive watch attributes. You can wear it anywhere, even with a suit or dive with it if you wish. Only a tux seems like it might be out of bounds, but maybe not. Classic and classy style in a modern watch. Not over thick and in one’s face, but not shy either. Perhaps the Direnzo icon could be brighter for the sake of the brand, though I like it as it is. I wish more watches were as confident in their design to let it do the speaking. Very happy that I got on board and purchased this excellent watch.

Really a terrific watch. I love the precision of it. The second hand pip eclipses the date window. The dial is that of an eclipse. The second hand counter weight slides along the bottom edge of the hour hand, and on and on. Nice retro suggestion in a modern watch. And I love that the printing on the watch is muted, letting the design do all the speaking. Had a bit of an issue and Sergio saw that it was rectified quickly and correctly, so kudos to service. Look forward to future offerings.

I received my black date version of this just a few days ago and am so impressed with it.
The dial is a stunner and so unique. The dimensions and proportions are spot on and with such a well regarded movement and beautifully finished it’s a winner.
I do like the bracelet though it’s a bit generic I’m currently wearing it on the rubber strap which is excellent and I certainly agree with other reviews that it’s a real strap monster.

This watch is an absolute stunner. It was the first Kickstarter watch I’ve ever backed and I’ve fallen in love with both the watch and the brand. The colours, the dial, the lume, the sapphire bezel and the hands are all great. The easy swap between bracelets is also great. Last but not least; the movement is very, very accurate at this price point. It loses only a few seconds a day which is superb. This watch is fantastic but there are a few small points of critique that I have to make for the sake of completeness. Firstly the lume and the anti-reflective coating. The lume looks awesome but fades rather quickly. A little bit more anti-reflective coating would have been nice. Secondly the clasp. The bracelet itself is perfect but the clasp doesn’t quite close properly. In summary: a fantastic nigh perfect timepiece which deserves a bigger audience.

There’s not too much to say here other than this is my favourite Direnzo. If you are a fan of Direnzo time pieces you will love it. If you aren’t a fan yet, do your research and you will soon discover this is one of the best micro bands out there. That’s it. I give it a high recommend.

This watch is amazing!
Sandwich Dial with a sunburst effect giving it depth and different shades of light when moved around, hands painted with vintage lume, while the double doomed sapphire and ceramic inserts completes the final touch of vintage look. The oyster style bracelet is very solid – but missing a folding dive suit extension.
Swiss Movement, elaborate grade which one can find in great known watches, I just wish the back cover was sharpie so I could take a glance at the movement each time I take it off my hand.
